How Do You Make A Housewarming Towel Cake?
A housewarming gift is a thoughtful way to help celebrate a friend or relative’s new home or welcome a new resident into your neighborhood. New towels are a safe choice for a housewarming gift as nearly any household can find a use for a few extra towels. A handmade towel cake is simple to create and will provide a more impressive presentation for your gift than standard gift wrap. Fold one of the bath towels in half lengthwise. Fold the towel in half lengthwise again to form a long, narrow towel. Repeat with the second bath towel. Line up the folded towels end to end and secure them together with two safety pins. Roll the towels up starting at one narrow end and rolling tightly until you reach the end of the second towel. Secure the end of the rolled towels with additional safety pins. Tie a ribbon tightly around the middle of the rolled towel to form the bottom tier of the towel cake. Fold two hand towels in half lengthwise. Line the towels up end to end and secure with safety pins.
