Many homeowners dream of having a hot tub to relax in on the back deck or in the yard; however, purchasing a new hot tub is quite expensive and can be cost-inhibitive. The alternative is to go without or make one yourself. If you are even just a little bit intuitive, you have the skills and know-how to build your own hot tub. Making a useful and functional hot tub is quite easy and can take any homeowner just a few afternoons or evenings to complete. Buy a watering tank and place it on sand in your chosen location. Level the tank and using a saw drill bit, drill holes in the tank for intakes and jets. Install the jets and intakes in the newly drilled holes using the supplied hardware. Plumb the intakes and jets to the pump with PVC piping. Cut out a rectangular hole in the side of the tank for a skimmer and filter.
