This is a great glaze for an Asian inspired flair for almost any pork, chicken, and seafood dish. It’s best used on the grill to achieve the right amount of flavor. The great thing about this recipe is the ability to adjust the amounts of the ingredients to your taste. Spicy, sweet, tangy, whatever you like! It’s a great marinade to try if you are new to grilling, or cooking in general. In a small saucepan, warm rice wine to gentle boil. Add lemon juice and spices continuously stirring. Remove from heat. Pour in honey slowly while stirring liquid. Place protein in shallow baking dish. Pour warm mixture evenly over the protein and cover with foil. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes. Turn protein to other side and marinate another 30 minutes. Grill protein at desired heat, brushing with marinade continuously to retain moisture. Discard unused marinade when finished.
