Laser pointers may be inexpensive to buy, but there’s fun in making your own. A homemade laser pointer will work as well as one from a store and give you a sense of accomplishment every time you see the laser beam. The process of making a homemade laser is not complicated and just requires buying a laser module and an LED flashlight. Put a towel down on a table. Remove the battery cap and batteries from the LED flashlight. Put the battery cap and batteries down on the towel. Unscrew the reflector from the front of the LED flashlight. Remove the plastic lens inside of the reflector and discard it. Put the reflector down on the cloth. Pull out the LED bulb from the LED flashlight using the needle nosed pliers. Discard the bulb. Place the LED flashlight down on the cloth. Twist the AixiZ laser housing between your hands to separate the front and back casings from each other.
