How Do You Make A Homemade Friendship Bracelet?
Homemade friendship bracelets are a great craft to make. It’s easy, unique and the person you give them to will appreciate them even more for you making them! Make sure you have the right thickness of yarn. It should be either 1 of the first 2 thicknesses in the picture. Decide on what 3 colors you want the bracelet to be. It’s best that they not be too light or they might blend and look different. Lay the different colored pieces on a table and tie them together about 1/2 inch from the top in a knot. Ask a friend to hold this end by the knot. Begin braiding the different colors together. Make it as long as you can, while having about 1/2 inch left at the bottom to knot the yarn. Knot the yarn 1/2 inch from the end. Ask your friend to tie the bracelet around your wrist or tie it yourself around someone else’s. After tying it in a knot, cut the remaining string off. Eventually (1 hour), the cut ends will become unbraided and you may leave it like that.
