Many objects lying around your house will make nice clunks, chimes, rings and thumps when you hit them with sticks. Making a homemade drum set is just a matter of collecting the best-sounding and least-needed stuff you own and mounting it around a chair or drum throne. Once you gather a few buckets and bowls, you can start banging away. Turn several buckets and paint cans upside down and arrange them around a seat where they’ll be easy to hit.
