Making a centerpiece for a table is an enjoyable project. Using fresh sprigs of holly and cedar not only looks great, but adds a wonderful fragrance from the outdoors. You can use evergreens like these all year-round and change part of the decoration to suit the season. This easy craft only takes about an hour and will be the envy of all who see your table. Be sure to buy some inexpensive plastic bowls and make extras for all your friends and family. Cut a piece of floral foam to fit in the bottom of your bowl. It should be thick enough to come almost to the top. Soak the foam in water until it changes color to a dark green. Place the wet foam in the bowl. Stick in three taper candle holders into the foam in random places. You will want to leave room between them to work in your sprigs, so don’t place them too close together.
