How Do You Make A Healthy, Great Summer Dessert?

0

Fruit and a little chocolate can combine to make a great tasting – and very healthy – summer-time dessert. Start with a bag of frozen fruit. Alternatively, you can cut up and freeze your own fruit. Almost anything works, though bananas, raspberrys, and strawberrys tend to work especially nicely. Take the fruit out of the freezer approximately 15 – 20 minutes before serving and allow it to slightly defrost. Place 1 to 1.5 ounces of chocolate per serving (dark chocolate is recommended, though milk chocolate will serve just as well) in a microwavable container and heat for a minute and a half, stirring after 1 minute. Heat until completely melted. Be careful when melting the chocolate not to burn it. You may also melt it using stoveware. In either case, check on it and stir often. Drizzle chocolate over fruit. Use a spatula to get all of the chocolate. Allow chocolate to harden for one minute and serve.
