• Fold the paper in half. Against the folded side, draw half a heart so that it is 1.5cm across at the widest point. You may need an adult to help you. • Cut out the heart and open it out. This will be the template for making your pendants. Roll your clay to about 2mm thick. • Place the heart on the clay and draw round it with a ballpoint pen or pencil. Remove the clay heart and gently smooth out the edges with your fingers. • Make a hole in the clay heart with the end of your paintbrush. Make sure that it goes all the way through the clay. Leave the clay to dry, then paint it a pretty colour or colours and leave it to dry again. Stick on jewels and sequins with PVA glue. Thread a colourful ribbon through the hole to make a necklace, or hang the heart in your room as a fun fairy decoration.
