How Do You Make A Hansard Cocktail?
A Hansard cocktail is a sweet, fruity drink that has a somewhat subdued alcohol taste. Fans of brandy cocktails should appreciate the familiar flavor, and drinkers that don’t really enjoy the taste of alcohol should enjoy the drink as well. The Hansard is an excellent cocktail to serve after a rich dinner, and in some cases, it can be served with dessert. This recipe makes one Hansard cocktail, served straight with a fresh orange wheel. Fill a cocktail shaker half-full with crushed ice. Add the brandy, citrus-flavored vodka, orange cordial, Grand Marnier and lemon juice to the cocktail shaker. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish the finished cocktail with a freshly sliced orange wheel and serve while cold.
