Not only do they look fantastic with cascading flowers or plants in them, but you can make one yourself–and it won’t take too much time or money to do so. Attach the chains to the wire basket. Make sure to space the chains an equal length apart. Place the saucer in to the bottom of the wire basket. The saucer will hold a small reserve of water in the basket. Line the basket with the coconut liner. Cut the liner to be level with the basket if it is bigger than the basket. Fill the basket a little more than halfway up with potting soil. Add the flowers or plants to the basket and cover with the rest of the soil. Cut the hanger with the wire cutters. Cut the hanger 3 1/2 inches down on each arm.
