So, find an old shirt and make your halter now. Find an old t-shirt to cut up to make into the halter. To get a good fitting halter, it’s a good idea to find a shirt that’s just a little bit snug. Turn the shirt wrong side out. Cut away the neckband and the sleeves. Cut just inside the seam line. Try to keep the cutting line as smooth as possible. Take long cuts with the scissors rather than short, choppy ones. Place the shirt on a flat surface with the backside facing up. Cut from the lowest point of the left armhole to the lowest portion of the right armhole. If you can’t cut a straight line, you can draw the line on the shirt using a ruler and pencil.
