Obviously, it will have to be long enough for someone to accept it. Contact someone at the charity to see what length your hair should be. If it’s not at the right length, you may have to grow it out. Get directions on how you should donate your hair. Some charities want you to come to them, while others will allow you to do it. Decide if you want to cut it yourself, or have a stylist do it. Get your hair cut, and make sure that you save the hair. Package up your hair, and make sure that you follow all of their instructions properly.
