Give a 2-liter plastic soda pop bottle a new life. Recycle it as a mini greenhouse dome for a single houseplant or to help sprout seedlings for flowers or vegetables. Wash and dry interior of a clear or green 2-liter bottle. Slip the tip of a sharp knife under bottle’s label to start label removal. If desired, spread multi-purpose cleaner on remaining adhesive and remove with paper towel or cloth. Carefully punch at least 2 holes through plastic near the bottle’s base (which will the top of a greenhouse). Punch the holes on opposite sides of the bottle. This will allow a little ventilation but will keep humidity inside the dome. Determine how tall you would like the dome to be when finished, and with ice pick punch a hole through the bottle at the proper place to begin cutting.
