How Do You Make A Greek Frappe?
Frappes are taking over Europe! Originally a staple of Greece, frappes are becoming the popular coffee choice in all of Western Europe! I myself love Greek frappes. Here’s a recipe for you to make a Greek frappe regardless of where you are! To start making your Greek frappe, add a very small amount of water to your shaker (about three tablespoons). To this, add 1.5 teaspoons of nescafe classic. Add two teaspoons of sugar for a frappe that is moderately sweet. Close the shaker and shake vigorously for thirty seconds to one minute. This will make your Greek frappe foamy. Open the shaker and pour the foamy Greek frappe into a glass over ice. From the tap, fill the still-foamy shaker with water. Pour water over your frappe in the glass. (leave about a quarter of inch room). Add milk to taste to your frappe. (This is optional, but a traditional Greek frappe has milk). Insert a Straw. Drink and enjoy your Greek frappe! Yum!
