How Do You Make A Great Poached Egg Breakfast?

0

Here is a twist on a classic morning favorite! Poached eggs with a slightly smoky cheese, and oven toasted bread. Dill, and Pepper top this off to tickle the taste buds in the early AM. Prepare workstation by laying out ingredients, and getting tools & utensils prepared. Fill Poaching pan with enough water to reach the top of the poaching cup, or approximately one quart of water. Heat the water with the poaching cup inside until it has reached proper temperature. (See the note on the bottom for a description of poaching temperature.) Before you drop the egg into the water, it’s time to toast the bread. You’ll start by toasting your favorite bread in the toaster until it’s as dark, or as light as you prefer (make it a little bit lighter if you will use a broiler to melt the cheese). Your egg should be dropped into the water, or cup when you put the toast into the oven so that the finish times are closer together. This is also where you should preheat the broiler if it’s going to be used
