How Do You Make A Great Party Salad?

There’s a salad that my husband and I make for dinner parties, luncheons or holiday celebrations and it’s always a huge hit. Here’s how to make it for your own get-together. Step 1 Clean the chicken. Step 2 Make a marinade with 1 oz. balsamic vinaigrette, brown sugar, cayenne, salt and pepper. Add to the chicken to marinate. Step 3 Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Step 4 Clean the mixed greens. Add the sliced pears, gorgonzola cheese, the chopped candied walnuts, salt and pepper. Step 5 Cook the chicken in a pan with a splash of water for 28 minutes. After only half the time, cover with aluminum foil (add water if needed so the chicken won’t dry out). Step 6 Let chicken cool for a few minutes and then wrap in saran wrap. Pound out chicken until it pieces a little and can pull apart, let cool. Step 7 Mix pulled chicken, remaining balsamic vinaigrette, greens mixture, salt and pepper. Step 8 Serve and enjoy.
