How do you make a good skateboarding video?
So you’re getting good at skating, huh? Think you’ve got a shot at a sponsorship? Or maybe you just feel like making a montage for fun. Well, either way, there are many important things to follow in order for it to turn out great! Picking the Song While all the parts of a montage are important, the song can either turn someone on to a video, or it can do the opposite and turn someone off. Picking the right song has a lot to do with your style of skateboarding, the type of tricks you do, and how you do them. Let’s take someone like Dustin Dollin or Don Nyguen, they are very fast skaters that throw themselves down huge stairs or handrails. The type of music that fits them is fast, heavy metal. But just because you skate fast and hard, doesn’t mean metal is a good choice for you. The song also has a lot to do with your personality.
