How Do You Make A Gluten Free Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake?
Would you like to make the most delicious pound cake? Does someone you know have Celiac disease or cannot eat gluten? Try this recipe for a yummy cake that everyone can enjoy! Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pan; set aside. Sift together rice flour, salt, and baking soda into a medium bowl. In a large bowl (mixer works best), cream butter and white sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Add rice flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Pour batter over pecans in prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 75 to 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cool in pan for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, let cool on a wire rack. Cover with glaze while the cake is still warm. (Mix together confectioners’ sugar, orange juice and 1 teaspoon vanilla) Enjoy!!!
