How Do You Make A Gilded Paste Flower?
A flower is a popular tattoo design that looks even more exotic when created with gilded paste. Gilded paste adds a glittering appearance. Often, these forms accompany and embellish henna tattoos, but they may also be used alone. Use children’s non-toxic glue or make a gilded paste from colored hair gel and cosmetic-grade glitter. Use more than one color to add richness to your design. Scoop the gilded paste into a plastic bag. Squeeze it out of the bag into an applicator bottle. Choose an applicator with a tip that best accommodates your design. Plan out your design in advance on paper. Practice different sizes and shapes of petals. Think about the size of the area you wish to cover on your skin. Adjust your design to fit this size. Place the applicator tip against your skin squeeze out an even line that is about 1/4 inch thick. Draw the center of the flower first then add petals, a stem and leaves. Work slowly and strive for an even thickness.
