One of the best things about getting a gift is the neat bag it comes in. I am going to tell you how to make a wonderful gift bag anyone would be happy to get. You will need two shapes cut out of the craft foam in the same color for each bag. The size of the cut out is your decision, depending on how big you want the bag. A heart shape is one suggestion, a flower shape is another, there are any number of shapes you can do. There are two ways of making these bags, one way is simply to glue the two cut-outs together and use ribbon as handles. This style is for thin gifts, as the bag is an envelope kind of style. The other design is using the same two cut-outs, and make a 3 inch wide strip of craft foam to go between the layers to make an open bag. You would hot glue the strip of foam to one side of each cut-out, making the bag wider. You can decorate the bags with sequins or other foam cut-outs. The handles need to be measured and hot glued to the top of the bag.
