Take checkers to another level by creating a giant game board and recycling old advertising CDs to use as the game pieces. This moving, interactive game gets kids and adults up and outside, doing something that requires a little more physical effort to play than the normal checkers game. Get 32 old CDs. You may have collected a lot from advertising mailers or you can ask people to save them for you. The extra 8 are for the king move or for lost pieces in case you need them.
