This craft teaches children how to make a ghost hand puppet. The craft uses household items and can be made in as little as 5 minutes after all of the items needed to make it have been gathered together. Siblings can each make one and have a group of ghosts to scare each other with. They can even put on a show for Mom and Dad. Start off by finding an old white sock. The sock must not be an ankle sock or it won’t work. Place the sock on your hand and determine where you want the eyes to be. Color in that spot with black marker. Make sure the spots are extra big. Place the sock on your hand again. Place a white cloth napkin over the sock. Press the white cloth up against the sock so you can see where the black is for the eyes. Cut out two round circles where the black is in the background. You are cutting the white cloth napkin, not the sock. This is for effect. The black will be seen through the holes.
