How Do You Make A Gemstone And Sterling Silver Bracelet?
Handcrafted bracelets are easy and fun to make. With the variety of gemstone colors, shapes and sizes available the possibilities are endless! There is also a large selection of sterling silver clasps on the market including toggle, hook and eye, lobster claw and more. Making a bracelet takes very little time for quick gratification! First choose the gemstone beads and clasp you would like to work with. Gather the rest of the supplies for the project. Cut the beading wire 4″ longer than you would like the bracelet length. Then attach one end of the clasp using the crimping tool, following the instructions that come with the tool. Begin to bead until you have reached the desired length. Be sure to factor in the length of the clasp when doing so. Depending on the size and shape of the beads you may find you need to add glass seed beads in between each for added flexibility. It also helps to accent each stone. Finish off the bracelet by adding the other end of the clasp and enjoy!
