How Do You Make A Garden Welcome Sign?
Welcome people into your garden with this cute garden sign. Not only is it a nice decoration, it is also functional too, making a spot to hang everyday garden tools. This is an easy and inexpensive craft to make. Use scrap wood and inexpensive hooks to make this garden sign. Assemble all the materials in one spot. Choose a wide board and a thin board to make the sign and post. Cut pieces if needed. Sand the wood with sand paper, to prepare for painting. Paint both the pieces of wood a nice garden color. Here we are using outdoor gloss Apple Barrel paint in moss green. Paint both sides if both sides of the sign will be seen. Next paint the words Welcome on the sign. A stencil can be used, or free hand, depending on the look you desire. Hammer the stake to the back of the sign. Use a small nail, so it won’t splinter the stake.
