A frog costume for Halloween is a good make-it-yourself outfit for both children and adults. Many of the items needed can be found around the home, at any pharmacy, or craft store and will be inexpensive. This craft is moderately easy, so most children will be able to help. There are several ways to make your frog costume look different than others, depending on the color of felt, head piece, eyes and other supplies that you choose. This way you can make the costume reflect your tastes and personality. Draw a large oval on white or yellow felt with a black marker. Cut out oval with scissors. Glue it to the stomach of the green sweatshirt. WIth marker, draw different-sized ovals and circles on light green felt. Cut them out with scissors. Glue the ovals and circles to the sweatsuit. These will be the frog’s warts. On the red felt, draw a long, thin rectangle that forks at the end. Cut out the forked rectangle with scissors. This will be the frog’s tongue.
