How Do You Make A Frog Costume?
Costumes have been around for centuries. Costume balls were popular over 400 years ago. People dress up in various costumes for many different reasons, one of the biggest in the U.S. is Halloween. You can dress up to look like a princess, a pirate, a crayon, a monster, or yes, even a frog. Purchase dark and light green squares of felt, 2 feet by 2 feet. You will need 5 squares of dark and 1 square of light. Create a frog mask. Draw a large eggshape, 2 feet wide by 1-1/2 feet high, on a piece of the dark green felt. Create 2 ear shapes at the top of the oval by drawing 2 half circles, 1 foot apart. When your mask is complete, these will not be ears, they will be eyes. Lay all 4 pieces of dark green felt in a stack. Connect them with straight pins. Using sharp scissors, cut out your outline, including the eyes. Take the top 2 pieces of felt and cut out an oval shape where a mouth would be, 8 inches wide by 5 inches high. Make the opening wide enough so when the mask is on your head you w
