How Do You Make A French Bulletin Board?
A French bulletin board does not require thumb tacks or pins to hold your pictures, helping to avoid damage to these precious memories. They are easy to make and more attractive than traditional cork bulletin boards, since you can use fabric and ribbon that complements your decor. You can even make several smaller ones and hang them in a grid pattern, allowing them to double as a work of art. Lay the canvas face down on the fabric, making sure there is enough fabric to wrap around to the back. Staple the fabric to the wood frame of the canvas, pulling it taut as you go. Trim off any extra fabric. Staple the end of your ribbon to the top right corner. Flip the canvas over and stretch the ribbon diagonally to the left bottom corner. Staple it to the back and trim the ribbon off. Repeat on the opposing corners so you have an X on the front of your canvas.
