How Do You Make A Framed Corkboard?

0

Having a framed cork board is a great way to keep all your little notes and pictures organized. It will clear up your work place but still keep everything in view. Make your own as a fun project. The materials are easy to get and the whole thing can be done in less than an hour. Open up the back of the picture frame if it has a glass front. Remove the glass and the other pieces. Save the back board for this project but get rid of any other papers. Lay the back board on top of the cork and trace it with a marker or pencil. It needs to be the same size so that it will fit into the frame. If you make it larger, it will buckle and not lay properly. Cut out the cork with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge for a nice clean edge. Cut on a surface that will not be damaged by the blade. Spread the rubber cement liberally on the inside of the back board of the picture frame. Lay the cork on the rubber cement and smooth out for good adhesion. Allow to dry for 10 minutes before moving it ar
