How Do You Make A Fleece Fabric Christmas Stocking?
Fleece fabric Christmas stockings are easy to make and pretty to use for Christmas decorations, or minis can be used as tree ornaments. We often use openwork for crafts, and have made some fleece Christmas stockings to share. Cut the Christmas stocking front and back pieces. Lay the stocking pattern over the doubled fleece fabric. Leave room for about 1/4 inch all around for a seam. Cut two fleece Christmas stockings in the background color. Save a scrap for a hanging loop. Cut the decorative layer. Lay the stocking pattern over the fleece fabric you are using for the decorative color and cut one stocking with no seam allowance. Just cut around the pattern exactly. Check for accuracy. Lay the decorative layer over the stocking layers to be sure it fits within the boundaries of the stocking and that there is still room for stitching around the fleece stocking. Cut the design and use your imagination. Remove the decorative layer and cut an openwork design in that layer only. You may just
