Weapons can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. One such weapon that can be used in a fight or a friendly spar is a wooden stick. An ordinary branch won’t be sufficient for a good duel. A fighting stick must be crafted for a proper fighting form. The materials for craft such a weapon can all be found at your local hardware store. With the right items and proper equipment, you can make your very own fighting stick. Draw a fighting stick outline on a wooden fence post with a thick black felt tip marker. Cut the fighting stick outline. Use a circular saw for cutting long straight lines, then a jig saw for narrow edges and shorter lines. Use a whittling knife for fine edges or curves. Use an electric sander or sandpaper after cutting the wood to remove splinters. The electric sander is for smoothing out large flat areas, while the sand paper is used for tiny nooks and crevices.
