Cutting and connecting the pipes together is fast and simple, as long as you have the right tools and materials. One simple PVC project for beginners to make is a fence. The cuts are repetitive and the necessary parts are minimal. Cut two lengths of 2-inch PVC pipe equal to the desired height of the fence, plus 18 inches. The extra 18 inches is to bury the posts securely in the ground. You need two posts for each section of fence. Each section will have one post in common. Measure and mark the two posts 18 inches from one end. This is the bottom of the fence post. Measure and mark the halfway point on the post from the 18-inch mark to the top end of the post. Cut each pipe at the halfway point line. Reconnect the two cut sections of one pipe with the straight ends of a 2-
