How Do You Make A Faux Rock Fountain?
Building a rock fountain for your garden is easier than moving and manipulating large natural stones. Faux rocks weigh far less than their natural counterparts, with a medium size resin rock weighing only four pounds each. You can find faux rocks and stones in a variety of shapes and sizes both online and at your local home improvement store. Seal any openings in the plastic planter with plumber’s putty. Let the putty dry. This will make your plastic planter water tight. Dig a hole to fit your plastic planter on the spot where you plan to place your fountain. Your planter should be at least 15 inches wide and at least 12 to 14 inches deep. This is the reservoir for your fountain and should be buried completely to the top of its rim. Fit the planter in the hole. For a larger pond fountain, use a pond liner in place of the plastic planter. Arrange the faux rocks for your fountain as close together as possible around the perimeter edge of the reservoir. Secure the faux rocks to each other
