How Do You Make A Family Advent-Event Calendar?
Tired of the kids hollering or being bored? Try a Family Advent-Event calendar night. Choose a design or shape for your advent-event calendar. Let the family have input and vote for suggested choices. Design the sample on some scrap paper first. After you have decided how big of windows and shapes of windows trace onto the first white cardboard. Cut the poster board out on three shapes of the twenty-five windows needed and open like a door. Glue the second cardboard to the first on all four edges only. Type or print labels or write on the board suggestions that the family can do each of the twenty five nights to get ready for the holiday. Some times it is shopping, church events, school events, baking cookies, wrapping presents, watching a TV special, renting a movie etc. The object is to include the whole family as much as possible.
