This article explains how to make swords made out of two kinds of material: PVC pipe and wood. The benefits of wood is that it is quick and easy. The PVC pipe does not hurt as much, but it is more expensive. • Find a thin, flexible piece of wood (Something which will not break easily). • Sandpaper off any splinters or sharp pieces of wood down the length of the blade. • Cut and/or sandpaper the point of the piece of wood so that it is flat/blunt (if your piece of wood is thicker at one end the point is the thinner end). • Wrap the point in duct tape, ensuring that all of the point is covered.
