Prior to applying a mask steam your face. This will open your pores and help the mask clean them out. Boil a pot of water and then let it sit for a couple of seconds. Hang a towel around your head. Place your head over the top of the pot (into the steam). Keep it there for about 5 minutes. Blend the ingredients together in a blender (low speed). Apply it to your face making sure the mixture is thick enough to stay on the problem areas. If need be, add a bit more oatmeal to thicken the mask. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with a clean washcloth using warm water.
