How Do You Make A Fabric Wallet?
• Take a piece of fabric that’s twice the size of your ideal wallet and turn it horizontally, right side up. • Fold in and pin the left and right sides (the shorter sides) twice about 1/2 inch. These will become the top borders of the wallet. • Sew the folds. • Fold the fabric in half (horizontally, wrong sides facing) and put pins in it so it stays that way. • Sew the front and back together, stitching along the right and left sides. You can use a sewing machine or sew by hand. If you’re using a sewing machine, backtrack. If you’re hand sewing, tie a knot. • Invert the wallet. Sew together the front and back again. Invert again and add designs if you want.
