How Do You Make A Fabric Picture Frame?
Here’s a quick way to frame a favorite picture. • Gather your supplies. • Measure the length and width of your picture. • Cut two pieces of cardboard, to the same length and width, adding an extra inch on all sides. • Carefully cut the center out, of one of the pieces of cardboard, to the exact length and width of your picture. This will create an open frame. • Cover each piece of cardboard with fabric, stapling the fabric to the back of the cardboard. • Pleat or gather the fabric around the corners of the open frame. • Fold and hold the fabric in place, with common pins, until ready to staple. • Glue the two pieces together with a moderate amount of glue. • Glue the back of the open frame to the front of the solid covered cardboard. • Glue the sides and bottom of the frame together, leaving the top as an opening. • Hold the two pieces together with clothespins until the glue dries. • Cut a small piece of cardboard, to the proper length and width, to support the frame. Staple it to the
