Making a fabric-covered waste can basket turns an ordinary trash receptacle into a fun and attractive part of a room’s decor. Use a tape measure to get the dimensions of the trash can or bucket being covered. Measure from rim to rim going under the bottom of the can. Add 6 inches to the measurement. Use the scissors to cut a circle of fabric. The diameter of the fabric circle should be the same size as the measurement taken in Step 1.
