How Do You Make A Ear Wash Solution For Pets?
This is a mixture I have used for years to clean dog, cat, rabbit, horse and other pet’s ears, professionally as a groomer and at home. It works well and it was taught to me by a veterinarian and has been approved by Vet’s I have worked for. Do not get these liquids in your or your animals eyes. This is safe to use as often as needed. It may be used daily for stubborn wax and dirt build up. It is safe to use on inflamed and infected ears. It will evaporate, leaving no cleanser in the ears to later cause damp ears which will help to keep away infections. The best bottle to use is one that has a squeeze bottle lid with a hole that closes tightly and makes it easy to put on cotton or in the ear. Mix the ingredients 50/50 or half a bottle full with one and fill it up with the other. Always make sure the bottle closed tightly or the mixture will evaporate. Use it on cotton balls and paper towels or put a few drops in the ear and wipe out good with cotton and paper towels.
