Nero 8 is the Swiss army knife of digital media tools. The Windows based media manager allows you to make your own DVD movies from any video source. You can direct, edit, mix and record from the same application. Step 1 Connect recording device to your capture card. Quit any processor intensive applications that might compete with Nero 8 and choose “Capture Video to Hard Drive” from Nero’s Start screen options. Select your tuner or recording device from the list and capture the recording in “Native Capture” mode. Step 2 Click on the “Next” button and choose to “Make Movie”.
