I’ve always loved crafting and one of the things I make are drawer sachets. These are very easy to do and make great gifts as well. In your glass jar, add 2 cups of corn cob pellets and 1 oz of fragrance oil. This is a good ratio to start with and you can adjust it as you like. Place the lid on the jar and shake it 2 or 3 times a day until the oil is absorbed into the pellets. This usually takes 3 or 4 days. The pellets should feel dry to touch. Some fragrance oils are more dense than others and tend to take longer to absorb. Fragrance oils can be purchased at craft stores and online. After the corn cob has dried, or cured, it’s time to add optional ingredients to the mix. Dried flowers are a nice touch, especially if the bag you will be using is sheer. Add the desired amount of flowers or botanicals and shake it up with the corn cob. Do not add the flowers before the fragrance oil has dried. You want the pellets to absorb the oil, not the flowers.
