I’ve made diaper cakes, and speaking from experience, it is much easier to make a rolled one than a layered one. If you want to make it bigger than the template you have, simply add more diapers on each tier and even add one more, if you want! There’s no limit to how big you can make them. As for the co-ed shower, just make sure the games arent too girly. There’s a really cute one where you can have the boys drink beer from a baby bottle to see who can chug it the fastest… and also the “poopy diaper” one where you melt a candy bar in the diaper and try to figure out which candy bar it is. They’re both unconventional, and the boys would get a kick out of it.
