How Do You Make A Delicious Tuna-Noodle Casserole?
This recipe is easy to make and very delicious! It makes a nice inexpensive meal, yet does not taste inexpensive. It can be made with the newer high-fiber pasta, which will make it an even healthier choice. Tuna-noodle casserole has long been a staple in most American homes. Many of us remember growing up with it on the table each week. Peas can be substituted for the mushrooms in this recipe. And speaking of peas…many of us also remember this casserole made with peas instead of mushrooms in our hot-lunch menus at school. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook noodles according to the directions on package. Add the cooked, drained noodles to bowl or pot. Stir in tuna, sour cream, milk, mushrooms, and salt and pepper. Pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole. Mix bread crumbs, cheese and butter; sprinkle this mixture over the casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
