How Do You Make A Delicious Tropical Smoothie On A Budget?
In the mood for a great smoothie but do not want to leave your comfortable lounge chair at home? Here’s a great recipe for a tropical smoothie that you can make in minutes without leaving the house! It’s fast, easy, and cheap! Make extra and save some for breakfast the next morning! Mmmmm! Add 1 cup of Ice, 1 Banana, 1 peach, & 1 cup chopped pinapple (canned or fresh) to blender and blend for 5 seconds. Add Vanilla yogurt (Greek Yogurt is highest in protein and has the least amount of carbs) and 1 or 2 Truvia natural sugar substitute(s) to the mixture. Truvia can be substituted with any real sugar or sugar substitute. Blend for another 5-10 seconds depending on if you like your smoothie icey or smooth. Add a quick pour of apple juice for extra flavor, if you desire. For a true tropical feel, serve in a pretty glass with a pineapple slice as garnish.
