How Do You Make A Delicious Ripe Mango Drink?
All of us like ripe mangoes. In summer this drink is quite refreshing. It can be stored in the refrigerator without preservative for a fortnight. With preservative it can last a year. Wash and wipe the ripe mangoes. Remove the skin and keep in a deep vessel. Mash them with your hands and remove the seeds. Measure half litre and keep aside. Boil sugar and water until sugar dissolves completely. Cool completely and mix the mango juice and lemon juice (or citric acid). Mix the food presevative in 2 table spoons of water and add to the sugar and mango juice mixture. If not required to store for a long time, the food preservative can be avoided. Strain with a cheese cloth and store in sterilized bottles leaving 3 cms of space on the top. Shake the bottle and dilute before serving. This is a concentrate. Pour one third glass or as per taste, then add water and ice cubes before serving. Any kind of juicy fruit like orange, lemon, pine apple can be used instead of mango.
