You don’t have to wait for spring to celebrate the flower child inside you! Here’s a very simple way to make a cute daisy crown. Cut the stems of your flowers so they are 3 inches long. Slice a 2 inch slit in the middle of the stem of the first flower with a knife. Slide the second flower’s stem through the slit until the blossom catches. Now slice a 2 inch slit in the middle of the second flower’s stem. Slide a third flower’s stem through and continue in this way until you have a chain large enough for a crown. You can fasten your crown into a circle by cutting a longer slit in the last flower and sliding the blossom of the first flower through the last flower’s stem. Or you can fasten the crown with a ribbon and a bow. Use twist ties to make your crown extra sturdy. Once you’ve made your crown, wrap the twists once or twice around the stems and trim the excess with scissors.
