Clay pot frogs are easy and fun to make. This little frog will be happy to sit on your shelf or desk, keeping you company while you work. Some rainy afternoon make the clay pot frog your project. Step 1 Paint the tulip cutouts on all sides with the lighter green paint and the sponge. These will be the hands and feet of the frog. Set them aside to dry. Step 2 Paint both the clay pot and the wood ball the same way. Start with the darker green paint first, and let it dry. Apply the light green paint over the dark green paint, just dabbing it here and there. You’re not trying to cover the dark green completely, just enough give the impression of a 2 tone frog.
