How to create a cursor from Scratch, No images, No experience needed. Absolutely Free • First You’ll need a cursor authoring program. A nice free one is Real World Cursor Editor. It has Vista Compatibility (at least with Home Premium). • Once You’ve gotten the program you can start making cursors. Open it up, and click Create New. • Click on New Static Cursor, and a window will come up. Don’t change any of the settings and just click ok. • In the new window you will see a Magnified area. That entire checkered box will be your cursor. now you can use the Line, circle, or pencil tool to draw up a cursor. This program will let you add a multitude of effects to your cursor, like animation, for which you have to select Animated cursor instead of Static Cursor. When You are done making a cursor, Save it and Move it to the Cursors Folder. • The cursors Folder is located in Computer-Windows-Cursors for vista users.
