For this project you will need: • a small piece of Cross Stitch fabric • a blank, acid-free card form • craft adhesive spray, acid-free glue dots, or acid-free glue • Scissors • Stitch a small design on the band of Cross Stitch fabric. The design used for this card is from the free Father’s Day Cross Stitch pattern collection, but you may choose any design that will not exceed the dimensions of the blank card. • Trim the excess fabric away from the design with sharp scissors. Do not trim too closely to the design or you may snip some of the stitches. • Apply a fray blocking agent to the edge of the fabric, if desired. You may also choose to bind the edge of the fabric with ribbon. • Determine the placement of the design on the card.
